01 / The challenge

Essential to the business.
Increasingly hard to maintain.

Torque Fast relied on a Paradox database built around 30 years earlier. It held critical functionality, but limited access and compatibility made it difficult to adapt to modern ways of working.

The task was to understand and preserve what mattered while moving away from the constraints of the old system.

02 / The solution

Rebuilt around real workflows.

We built a web-based system that replicated and enhanced the essential functionality of the original database. A shared, multi-user application gave the business a more accessible way to manage its work.

  • Core business functionality carried into the new system
  • Browser-based access for shared workflows
  • Less dependence on manual data handling
  • A maintainable foundation for future changes

03 / The outcome

A more practical system.
Confidence in the next chapter.

Simpler processes

The client reported streamlined processes and improved efficiency in everyday work.

Shared access

A modern web application replaced the constraints of the ageing desktop database.

Confidence in the data

The client highlighted greater confidence in the reliability of its data management going forward.

In our client’s words
“It’s streamlined our processes, improved efficiency, and given us confidence in the reliability of our data management going forward.”
